There were wrong user profile links in the "About the Author" section of an article and on the profile page itself.
The correct user was "mandegar113355" with ID 12899565 (closed as spammer) but the above mentioned links where pointing to the profile page of the user "mandegar" with ID 1518749.
It seems that the numeric part has been stripped off to create the links.

I'm trying to publish my article using CodeProject's article submission wizard. The text of my article contains equation formulas. To insert equation formulas I exactly follow LaTeX, styling and layout tips as it's shown here[^]. But it doesn't work for me. The editor doesn't render the LaTeX script. I've tried to paste those scripts from the example, wrapping it with

Hi. I've just started writing my article [^] using CodeProject's articles editor and I'm experiencing several issues using it. The first of all, when I'm pasting my article's text from Microsoft Word 2016 the formulas, images and tables are not displayed correctly in the article's preview. And also there's the number of space gaps occurred in the text that has been pasted from MS-Word. As well, when I've pasted and started to format the code fragments, in the preview html-code is displayed instead of the code text written in C++ after I specify the proper formatting.
Previously, I've already posted the number of articles using CodeProject's articles editor, *BUT* those issues had not persisted then. Smile | 
Please help me out to correct these problems, or just guide me how to properly use the CodeProject's articles editor. Smile |

The way I use the editor is by adding an HTML page to my project solution, and use Visual Studio to edit. Then, I go to CP, start the article editor, and just paste the entire thing "as is" from visual studio to the editor. Many fewer headaches that way.

I've already solved this problem by converting my .docx into .html web-page using MS-Word. At the time, when the new .html document is generated the MS-Word normally creates an .html file of the document, converting all equation formulas into images stored in a separate directory that comes along with that .html document. After that I use plain html-mode of the submission wizard's editor and paste the html contents "as-is" from .html document directly into the wizard's editable area, also I upload all images from that directory and change each path inside src="..." attribute of the image tag to the proper location path at which the uploaded images are saved by the submission wizard. In this case this is the path by default e.g. src="image001.jpg". And that's it. Oops, it works for me.

Hello, I can't upload an article which text containing equations pasted from MS-Word 2016 by using CodeProject's article submission wizard. Previously, I have an experience of such articles *BUT* there was no problem with pasting text containing equations.
I've inspected the following problem and encountered that after an article has been submitted or just saved src="data:....." attribute of html-tag is omitted from the html code being uploaded using the submission wizard.
Now I'm just wondering what's the matter with the submission wizard ??
Can you help me out to solve this problem?

I'm assuming what's happening is you're pasting HTML that has images automatically encoded (by Word) as data:. The submission wizard extracts this data, saves an actual image, and updates the HTML to reflect the image.
Can you please email me the raw HTML (including data: images) to chris@codeproject.com and I'll walk though the issue using your data to ensure it's not an encoding issue.

We just recently had an attempted scam article pop up - Get $6,500 USD every day, for six months! See how it works[^].
I was wondering if these guys get reported to the relevant authorities. Countries are cooperating more and more these days, and a lot of these ratbags are subsequently being caught. Most of these cooperating countries have a special site set up by their federal police departments where the scams can be reported. The more information these departments can get, the better their chances of catching the people behind them.

Just curious. I updated my sig line on my user settings but it still doesn't show up.
It seems to have saved out all right and when I look at it, it looks correct, but then my old sig line shows up when I post a message.
Any ideas about why that might be happening/

Am I in Signature Jail?
I changed my sig line just to include my home page now, but it still doesn't show up.
If this is an automated process & it only shows up when the link is "clean" enough I can keep trying and not bother you. I'm just now sure how it works and how I can bother you the least.

That's odd. It had three links before and I thought that was what you were concerned with so I changed it to my main site which is my blog. Wonder why you are seeing something different?
It doesn't matter. However it shows up is fine....or if it doesn't show up at all, that's fine too.

I've seen a few articles that are missing the comments and discussion section. The header is there but no possibility to see existing comments or add new one. For example Arrgh.js - Bringing LINQ to JavaScript[^]

I'm just wondering if CP could be a more dynamic website. I mean, the whole page needs to be refreshed even to see an article's updated status like total viewers, downloads etc. And not to mention that it takes a new page to be opened to add comments or discussions. So it would be great if article's status could be updated on-the-fly  I don't know what other people thinks but all these are my opinion. So let me know your opinion
