Given all the logistics involved, it's unlikely that humanity will ever see our way outside the Solar System to colonise exoplanets. But the possibility of settling elsewhere inside the Solar System isn't so far-fetched. It's all fun-and-games until the Belters drop some rocks on your head

Well, I've read the first eight books (the ninth comes out this fall), and I've watched seasons 1-4 of the show. There are two curves here. One is developing the technology to reach and colonize those exoplanets. At this point most visible paths require emergent breakthroughs in propulsion, materials, environmental support, and so on. The second curve is our civilization's ability to survive long enough to let the first curve reach a point where it's possible.
If the curves intersect, we reach the stars. If they do not, we are fodder for some future archaeologist who is not human.

In Visual Studio 2019 version 16.9 Preview 3 we added support for deploying CMake projects to a remote Windows machine and debugging them with the Visual Studio remote tools. Works fine on your machine, while you debug on another machine

I've still got a huge pile of Scientific American from the late 70s / early 80s - in the days when it was in large format, articles undisturbed by ads (ads were essentially placed in the first and last pages of magazine). Articles were thorough, yet easy to understand. This may to a large degree be because their illustrations were very well made: Maybe simple, but reduced to exactly what you needed to understand the issue discussed.
Then SA got new owners, and changed almost overnight to a poor quality The-Newsweek-of-Science style. Since then (according to Wikipedia, the takeover was in 1986), I never considered renewing my subscription.
I really feel tempted to spend some time down in my basement, digging up those old issues, to see if they really were as high quality as I remember them ...
