Hi,

Software development texts such as, Mythical Man Month, Peopleware and Rapid Development, present reports that state environemt has a huge effect on productivity. Something like twice as much work is done in an office with a door you can close compared with a cubicle or open plan.

They say it stems for the fact that, on average, managers needs to maintain a single throught for 6 minutes at a time whereas a developer thinks for 2 hours at a time.

Interesting stats, pity management does not understand the logic. Confused | :confused:
