help on ms agent tts programm

My name is Andualem Alemu. I found this page while I was looking a help on how to program ms agent control (TTS). It was so pleasing for me to get those codes written on this page. I downloaded them and tried out on my visual studio 2008, C#. It works, it doesn't generate any code error and I can see and hear when the character Merlin comes in.

But, I faced a problem on hearing the sound as an output. It does not generate any sound of the text that I wrote in the text box. So, can you help me on finding the solution?

I am using windows xp 2006 advanced drivers enhanced, service pack II and C# 2008.
