Hello, I'm building a website about GPS tracker (GP300VT from gpsat).
But I'm having difficulties to retrieve the position data from the GPS Tracer device .
How does the tracker send the position data to the server?
Because I want to store it to the database .

What I have tried:

Does GP300VT contains the functionality to save data to server? Unfortunately a producer/developer's pages are in French only.

Hi, Setup a server with public access, just configure your gps device to send the data to this server on a specified port, deploy an application in the server to monitor and receive gps data from gps devices on the port specified in the gps device. And refer the following solution,
