Scriptresource.axd is throwing 500 internal server error in IIS 8.5

I created a website to view the RDL reports using ReportViewer control. In my development server(windows server 2008 R2), the site works fine. When I deployed the site in UAT server(windows server 2012 R2), the site is throwing error "Failed to load data" error in ScriptResource.axd.

Thanks in advance!

What I have tried:

C#
I have changed the App pool to Classic mode and then to Intergrated mode
I have manually removed the ScriptResource.axd in <system.webserver><handlers> and then added again
But it did not resolve the issue.
