pagination problem in java

Hi friends,

I have a jsp page which is displaying the data with the pagination.Acually my requirement is i have a main department with the deptid 92.When i clicked on the main department it has to show all the sub departments under that particular main department.I have 90 sub departments under the main department.I have given the max page items as 90.So it is showing 1-50 and 51-90.When i clicked on the 51-90(next) it is giving the null pointer exception and taking the department id as null.But the department id must be same when i clicked on next.Can any one help me regarding this issue.
