Migration from Sharepoint 2007 to 2010

Hi,

I want to migrate my Sharepoint 2007 sites from one server to Sharepoint 2010 which is on another server.

Will import/export using STSADM be enough? Or should I follow the entire procedure of database attach/upgrade?

I have all the prerequisites installed on the Sharepoint 2010 server.

Kindly help me out.
