user account for snapshot agent in SQL Replication

Hi,

I need to configure a Replication.
However i fail to do so because the Security settings for the Snapshot agent is not accepted.
Can you please explain me exactly which process account should i provide?
is it the windows login account or other account?

also at the subcribing end again i have to specify the process account.

what exactly is the requirements before i can configure a Replication??

Are both sides of the replication in the same domain?
