Need Suggestions for creating tool for Generating Adhoc reports dynamically for Windows Applications

Dear Friends,
Thanks first of all for visiting my Question.
Actually I need suggestions on building a tool in C#/ADO.NET for Generating the Adhoc Reports. It need not to be very Dynamic, Only Requirement is One must be able to select the columns and enter the filter criteria. And it must be Windows based application.
