Hi,

I have a requirement to broadcast live video on internet without using any 3rd party websites/softwares.

I have FTP server,Website and development skills in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET(Window & Web appln). So please guide me to complete this task.

Well, do you have a 1st-party anything? I mean, do you have a web site? How accessible is your host for you? It all depends on what software can you install on your site.

Firstly you need to know what live feed you are going to be broadcasting, you don't want yourself in legal complications regarding region content restrictions etc.

Then where are you going to get your feed from? direct camera link or is it being delivered from a broadcaster. If a broadcasting service is providing the feed it will more than likely be encoded, so you will need to find out what the requirements are for decoding. Also what the bitrate on the stream is, as that will influence your configuration.
