Increase the print speed TM-U220

Dear All

please help me .

I have made a pos application in c#.net , the problem is it is printing slow .
I have checked the same printer with other pos application in the market they are
printing veryh fast .

print speed of my pos application is 10 seconds for printing 8 line recipt .
print speed for other pos application with the same printer is is 5 socnds for 8 lines.

One more thing my printer is 2 color printer but i have set this on one color from printer properties .

I have used .net print report not the crystal report in this app.

Please help me

Normally you can increase the print speed by increasing the baud rate. What are you setting the baud rate to?

This is like with matrix printers: using windows graphical drivers you will get slow printing. Low level printing with built-in character sets and as less graphics ass possible will be really quick.
