Help on problem with IIS 7.5 webserver

Hello please i need help to deploy my asp.net website to my local machine.I have installed IIS on the local machine and the machine OS is window 7 ultimate edition.When i try to navigate to the website it shows the following error

The requested content appears to be script and will not be served by the static file handler

Running the website through visual studio 2010 it works fine i have check all through the internet today but still no luck.Please i need some one to help a novice confused programmer out.Thanks as you try to help me

Based on Wes aday suggestion, OP was able to resole it.
