Hey Marcus,
Thanks for the info.
We have attempted to run in compatibility mode(as XP) and ensured
our dependencies for our DLLs are installed, no performance improvement.
Also used run as Administrator, no change. It runs painfully slow, no errors just slow. Further debugging, we've determined that the creation of COM objects is whats taking a very long time. Our application uses this extensively.
Any more thoughts? Thanks again.

The only other thing I could suggest is to examine each of the COM components used and see which of them in particular is causing a problem and investigate into that. In the future, don't ask a new question in response to an answer or comment. Just submit a comment in that thread. In this case you were lucky that I happened across the new question.
