Convert projects from Visual Studio 2010 to express edition

i have my project in Visual studio 2010 how can i convert it on express edition
without creating new project on express edition from the beggin
" Visual Web Developer 2010 "

Doesn't it work in express edition right away? It should. If not, recreated the projects, adding the same source code files...

I think this is somewhat along the lines of "backwards compatibility" and I think if you go from full VS to express VS it won't work with opening an existing solution. I tried going from 2012 to 2010 and 2008 and it doesn't work without recreating the project from scratch and adding the source files.

Solution 1

You can't down-convert to solution/project.

You have no choice but to create a new project in Express and add the existing code files to the Express project.
