Net-Snmp v5.9.3 was ported at my NAS, which was Linux-based. The SNMP module works fine except it doesn't response to IPv6 client of global unicast. That's that it can reply to SNMP clients thru IPv4 or IPv6 with link local address, but not IPv6 with thru global unicast address.

How come? Where does it get IP address to open the udp:161 (which is udp port for SNMP)?

ps. This NAS has got two IPv6 addresses: global unicast (2001:...) and link local (fe80:...)

What I have tried:

I traced my codes and googled at the web in vain.
