Outlook addin in vs 2012

A customer has asked me to add a button to their Outlook 2007 & 10 ribbon, basically it should insert a word at start of subject line and send email

Is this easy to do? And how??

If you are fluent in C# and have the common development environemnt and office installed, it is rather easy. MSDN provides many samples that give a good starting point.
