Microsoft Visual Studio 2012

Hello,

I am trying to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 into my HP laptop, I have Winbdows Vista. At first it said I have to update my windows installer service. after doing that the application downloaded to my computer, but will not open. Can someone please help!

Probably not. It's hard to imagine what else could you screw up. Not enough information.

you should update service pack for window before you install vs2012

I'm not sure you can: this from Microsoft says not...

Vista is not on that compatibility list.
