creating menu dynamically from database in mvc4

I need to have a menu in my mvc4 project such that all menus and submenus should be populated from sql server 2008 database tables ................. can anyone give me a sample mvc4 application.

In below link there is an example for asp.net menu populating from database Dynamically populating menu items from the database in ASP.NET[^]. Similar to this link i need those functionalities in my mvc4 project ................ can anyone give me a example ............. i need examples without using entity framework ....................
