help me for capturing audio in C#

i have searched in lots of websites to see how it is possible to capture audio and monitor it or compare it with others.at last i found DirectShow and NAudio .is there any one to help me to know which one is better and how they work.
i want to build an application that records sounds in DB and can compares them.

You found two options, without implementing how you come to know which one is best? Try to google about it so that you may come to know which suits your requirement

1. Reply to the comment so that the user is notified.
2. Did you search the articles on this site for audio and .net?
3. Better is of course a relative term so I would recommend you try them and see which one will work for you better.
