i need a C code to generate random numbers without using built in random functions.
random numbers can be generated in between 1 to 10.

If you want to learn all what you have been asked on some interview to prepare to next interview, you are probably wasting your time. But I would understand if you are doing it out of curiosity. By the way, for an interview question, this one was quote stupid. There is no point of asking such things.

Google is your friend: Be nice and visit him often. He can answer questions a lot more quickly than posting them here...

A very quick search gave 13 million hits: random number algorithm[^]

In future, please try to do at least basic research yourself, and not waste your time or ours.
