Hi I have the below requirements

To display the Countryname and the UTC time zone difference Latest at the time of logging to the system.
City Name UTC Difference
Bangalore +0530 hrs
Karachi +0500 hrs
London +0000 hrs

By using dot net classes, can we get this information or we need to subscribe to external feeds.

a. If dot net classes, how to do this
b. If external feeds, which are vendors who provide this information

Solution 1

There's nothing in .NET. You can buy a database which will let you geolocate someone from their IP, then you can work it out from there.
