Visual Studio open then suddenly closes again, Please assist

I have visual studio 2005 and 2008 installed in my machine when I try opening any of those, it opens and then suddenly closes up again. Please help

Yes, some patch was installed on the server I think it then corrupted VS. But after installing dotnetfix it seems to be working fine

i have got uncertain answer to your problem
your computer could be checked at 220 volts and you are suppling it with 110 volt sorry if i am wrong
but if i am write i am eager for your conformation post it

From your posts it is obvious that you are keen to help people but posting an answer 10 days after the original poster says that the problem is fixed is wasting everybodys time.

BTW: VS does not stand for Voltage Stabilisation, so I doubt your answer was correct.

Solution 1

Sounds like it's broken. Have you installed anything else that could be messing with it ? Have you reinstalled or removed and reinstaleld it to see if that fixes it ? Do you get any sort of error message ?
