How Do I Analyse Can I Analyze A Video Streaming Over Hdmi Hdmi?

I want to detect a marker in a video which is streaming over hdmi.A marker is just a combination of 3 characters like "abc" through which i want to decide whether to stream the video or not.I have researched a lot for this however could not find any useful resource. Is there any way to achieve this?? Any suggestions or help would be really appreciated. Thanks

So you want the detect a marker in an image? have you considered using openCV?

opencv is non hdmi...i want something that supoports hdmi..
