VB to VB.net migration Type Lib

Hi All,
I am planning to migrate VB to VB.Net I have below questions

1. Legacy VB application uses Type Lib e.g. FpWrap 3.0 Type Lib
How do we migrate Type Lib related code to VB.Net

2. Also legacy application uses Farpoint Grids in conjunction with APEX XArrayDB Objects (it appears for me to display and perfrom grid operation - I am not sure beacuse yet legacy application is not received to me). What is the strategy does we have to replace this with VB.Net Grid controls?

I'd be astonished if you can "migrate" anything. I would start with the view that you are up for a complete rewrite. As for reusing VB6 objects, forget it, you will spend more time trying to make ancient tools work in a modern environment.

Start from scratch, rewrite using the latest methods and tools any other option is doing a great disservice to your client.
