Password protected folder

Hi Expert,

is there any way to provide protection on particular folder using Window. I have to protect my folder with password, whenever any anybody clicking on folder then the pop up will open for password?

Note:- I am working with under the Domain in a Network even i don't have any permissions to set any password.

Any answer will be appreciated!:rose:

Rule 1: Do your research.

A very quick google search with your title as the search term gives the solution many times. The second hit is here[^] which gives two solutions for XP!

Solution 2

You could try Truecrypt [^]. It creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk after opening the file with TrueCrypt and entering a passwort.
