Major project as in what? Standard? Quality? Level? :sigh:

It's you and your professor that can well judge and decide about it. It would depend on what has been taught, what you know, what's you aptitude is towards learning and what expectations your professor has regarding you and your project.

I would suggest you to go and discuss the same with your Professor. Know what all is good to have and try out in your final year project. Try it. If you face any issues, surely you can ask us, we will try to help you out.

1) A medical records system for everybody on the planet.

2) A unique individual identity system for the internet (one man, one ID)

3) A teleport control system similar to the one on Star Trek. Don't forget the pattern buffers!

Those major enough for you? All very handy too.

And they are here today, just like you asked so politely!

First of all, you should first understand what fields are interesting for you. Can you tell?

Not only in computing. For example, if you're close to music, there are many interesting applications: learning theory of music, different kinds of training, building and analyzing chords and/or scales and a lot more. Graphic arts, industrial design, photography, sports?

The mere fact that you're asking here in urgent situation is troublesome. To me, is sounds like you're not interested in the job itself. I would be happy if you prove me wrong. I would rather prefer to know that you fell in love and had no time then that you have no interest… :)
