Textbox Language in asp 2.0?

I need to take the data from Excel into Textbox. In Excel the Corresponding data in Russian, and i need to show into textbox.. While i doing the output like

¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿   12¿ ¿¿¿¿. ¿¿¿¿<br />
¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿                   1.9 ¿¿<br />
¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

I need to show the output in clear format..

Solution 1

You need to install Russian fonts for this .
and have to load them before showing anything on page.

There is not such thing as Russian font! Russian is supported by virtually each and every available font. So, I would advice you check up your advices in order to avoid earning the reputation of liar.

I think you have to set Content Type of that page that will solve your problems.

add following element into meta tag in page head.

That is a good answer, my 5. I should have added that the actual encoding of the text should be UTF8, but it should be apparent to everyone not suffering from brain damage.

I recommend OP to try if out and accept this answer formally.
