content based video retrieval using motion detection

Hi,

I am doing a project on motion detection in cricket videos where i want detect a specific motion say for an example like a wicket to a specific query and it should retrieve the necessary frames from the specific video and play those frames as a collection. i have a motion detection algorithm published in the code project (Aforge.net) but i dont have an idea to how to optimize this algorithm for my requirement. please can anyone help me?
