Is it possible to edit .aspx, .aspx.cs pages after hosting site locally on iis on a system

Hi all,

I want to host my site locally on my laptop only. I want to know, whether i will be able to edit web pages .aspx and others, after hosting them.

Hi,
It depends, if you have a WebSite rather than a WebApplication, then you can change them while they are hosted. Otherwise, you can just edit tags in your .aspx files and recompilation is not needed.

Hi ,
According to your Question you didn't deploy your website i mean it's not DLL files so you still have both .cs file and .aspx so the answer for your Question

Note :
you have to deploy your website don't publish with your .Cs Files for security reason's .
