Hello I have a picture with white background and blue in the middle and a picturebox that contains it.Can I make the white part from the picture transparent (the form has a background image and I want to see the form image thought the white part)?

Yes.. .You can use TransparencyKey property to have a color look transparent in windows form..


But I recommend to use Transparent image for this, as most of the times the image looks odd using TransparencyKey. Use Photoshop to make the white portion transparent before using this.

FYI, GIMP (GNU Image Manipulate Program... or something like that) can be used to edit images and add transparency. The advantage it has over PhotoShop is that it's free. Paint.NET might also do transparency, but I'm not sure. Just thought I'd add that to what the previous person said, as most people don't have a copy of PhotoShop just laying around.
