How to distinguish or what parameter will distinguish between different flavors of windows OS except their name and version ? That can be found except from win32_operatingsystem class

The only other way I know is through the GetVersionEx() call.

other than name and its version.. do the os have any other unique id or code anything like that?

Not that I have seen, all the information that is available is provided by this function.

It depends on context, I believe. Here[^] for instance, you may find some info related to programming for different Windows OS.

in which win32 class i can find that macros?
