Sharepoint Migration Options

I want to use a freeware product (like Joomla) which I can if I choose to at a later time migrate to a sharepoint site.

Does anyone have an idea of what, if anything, would be best to use?

Solution 1

Why don't you start with SharePoint Foundation? It's free and migration from it to SharePoint Server is easy and supported.

This guys - SharePoint host - helped me to transfer my website to SharePoint Foundation 2010 for free from my old hosting. Perhaps they can help you with Joomla migration too.
