I am currently pursuing graduation in B.Sc.IT.I am in need for a good topic for my final year project.I have topics for a simple and normal systems which i don't want to take.I want to take some project in networking which may include a firewall and routing system..please guide me with any topic soon as i need to submit the project synopsis on 30th of this month

Well, it's YOUR thesis, so you should come up with something yourself. Check out what really interests you and in what you are really good, and then come up with something. There is no sense in doing something, somebody else proposed to you, and then just doing it half-hearted. There are so many possibilities, it doesn't even have to be something totally new, you don't have to re-invent the wheel. If you need guidance for everything you do, you won't get far.

Solution 2

It would be very difficult for someone to suggest a good project for you. No one here will know your comfort level with Java or VB.Net, so perhaps it would be best if you decide for yourself (as is mentioned in the other answer).
