Updated my answer with few links that should help you out

Which chart control?

On any chart control you will be able to set the axis values, the starting point and the increment value.

Check for chart options. Setting type of series, axis values, etc can easily be set.

For Guiding me
Set the minimum value and the maximum value on the axis. Since you didn't say what chart control or what platform, that's the best I can do for you.
