how to resolve this error while accessing excel file with IIS Server?
"Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80070005."

Hi Microsoft Excel as a COM object can only activated by the following accounts:

Administrator
System
Interactive

i do same with administrator account but still I am getting this error..
The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file 'D:\Projects\ElintOracle\excels\'. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
can anyone pls guide me?????????????????????????????????

Solution 2

Whatever COM component you were trying to access got corrupted somehow.
Re-install it and this should get resolved.

If re-installation is an issue then you might wait for some more time and see if others have better option.
