I have been thinking to document my experiences regarding PADSS in an article form. Is it worth it, if yes, then which section to follow? Ideally it belong to security but unfortunately security section is not present.

I have already sent an Email to the user. I am not reporting it as abuse, but you might have a look and maybe do something.
Blogs automatically feeded, coming on german:

AFAIK english still is the official language for publications, isn't it?

Hi!
(writing in english, so anybody can follow the discussion )
Thanks for pointing out that any other language than english is not quite appropriate!
I just started blogging and wanted to get a feeling for it. So I decided to stick to my mothers tongue before moving forward to writing in English.
The automatic feed-aggregation is disabled now and I deleted the imported two posts already.
In fact, I stumbled upon this feature while looking for a possibility to enter the feed-url to my profile, so please take my apologies when those posts caused you som "trouble" ;)
Have a nice day!

There is an option to feed only specific blogs and not all...So you can keep blogging in German and only when ready to move to the great public turn to English and start signing the individual post you want to publish here...

I am wondering if there is a way there could be a tool created that translates the consumed blog from whatever language it was written, to English?

All the known - to me - software translators, are too poor for the quality we should have at CP...
Even with German-English you can get truly ridiculous results, not to talk about languages much more different from English...

That is true. Not sure how accurate something like google translate really is. A tool would still need someone to review the translate.

No problem at all.
I supposed that. That's why I emailed you private and posted it here. This is the place to receive such help

No, not normal. The author is currently making changes to those articles. Once the changes have been made the articles will be restored.
Thanks,

I did it a few times in past - and I mean, stating, that the list of the articles for the contest is sometimes so poor...
In past I did not posted links not to embrace the author (after all those articles are not that bad, but not up for the finalists list...), but this month I have to post one, and not because of the author, but to show how the procedure of choosing the articles is wrong...

The procedure to choose the articles is as follows:
We sorted articles by rating and we then pick all mobile articles, web articles, C# articles etc etc. With each choice we ensure we don't repeat articles that have been included in previous contests, and we also ensure that an author can only appear once in a contest listing.
So this means that when we're down to the "Everything else" category we're sometimes left with very few articles to choose from.
We could certainly make an executive decision and simply ditch articles we personally feel aren't up to snuff, but we much prefer the community to have their say. If an article appears in the contest listing and it's not very good, then don't vote for it. Vote for an article that is good.

I like this approach because eventually the winner is decided by the community votes and if the article is really bad then they have the option to comment or downvote the article in question.
Only precaution to take is that Proxy votes are weeded out.

Hello,
Can someone please tell me what is the criteria for an article to be selected as the best article of the month? Do I have to apply for it or will my article be selected automatically based on it's performance (number of views, downloads etc.) & tag (sql, c#, etc)?
I published an article a few days back which is doing very well.
Thanks & Regards,
Deepak Bisht
