I don't think the world is mad, I just think that trying to be juridically safe in every moment (to avoid potential sues) and the political correctness is making us even more stupid as a race.

Every so often I see a post in the Lounge, titled "Wordle <number>".
What is that? Why is one posted each day (just out of curiosity) and what _is_ a Wordle, anyways?

|
Wordle is a web based game from the NY Times. You have 6 tries to guess a 5 letter word. The game tableau shows which letters in your guess are correct but in the wrong location and correct and in the correct location as well as indicating incorrect letters (by color). You can only play one puzzle per day.
After success or failure you can save to your results to the clipboard to share. The results don't show your actual guesses, just which positions had a correct letters. Colors indicate correct or incorrect guesses and position. You can create a NYT account to track your stats over time.
The wordle posts in the lounge are the shared results of various users each day.

Catmeat has now dug all of her kibble out of the bowl and onto the floor in defiance of the new "tip proof" setup.
It was primarily to keep her from spilling the water that we put in it. But now after a couple months of having it she has a new trick. Paw all of the kibble onto the floor.
Bear in mind this is our 4th tip proof setup, her having defeating the rest in unarmed combat.
I should sell her to the people that make it so they can run advertisements.
I don't understand why she has to be so bloody orange.
For the record, I did not pick this cat out. But she has decided I am hers. Now hubby has zero cats, and I have two. His fault. All of this is his fault.

Hi All,
Everyone I sure has at one time or another just quickly knocked together an application to solve a problem. It gets seen and feature creep sets in and before you know it your simple app is a monster of hastily added features bordering on spaghetti code. You end up afraid to change bits incase that throws off something else (in my case timing to the serial port(!) so you wait until everyone has gone home to test the changes they want hasn't caused the system to break. Just done that, appears to work. I am starting to think it's Indiana Jones and the boulder.
So come Tuesday it should software wise work.
