I am living the pain of realizing how much I miss something once it's gone. The new Firefox "Quantum" has basically blown up my existing set of add-ons - and while I've adjusted otherwise, I am suffering for not having Session Restore, and Firefox's support for this functionality is woefully inadequate. Is there something out there that is as good? What I liked about Session Restore is that it had list of all sessions, so that if somehow I accidentally exited the app , I could go to Session Restore and pick out an earlier session, and then go through History to figure out what I had opened in a tab but not yet consumed. (I am a breadth-first kind of guy, opening up tabs that I eventually consumer, or at least leave open to consume at sometime before the death of the universe.)

What's wrong with "Restore Previous Session" in the Firefox menu? If you just want to get back to where you were before you closed Firefox, that's exactly what it does.

The problem is if you accidentally exit Firefox properly; then it doesn't work.

Yes it does. I've used it many times to do precisely that.

Tab Session Manager. I only recently installed it at work and it's great. It autosaves the last sessions and allows to save any session permanently using a meaningful name. I am a breadth-first guy too so I found it very useful. Of course on 58.0 Quantum.

So it's illegal to park a car there, but you can create an ice sculpture of a car and leave it there, and that's not only fine but you also get twitter points for it?
Yes, but that's only if you do not have kittens to gain these twitter points.

A car will have registration that can be used to find the owner; but prove who built the snow car?

The guy who did it left his calling card and even took credit for it on twitter.

The trick is to hide the fire hydrant on the side of the street by building the snow car on top of it............

I was once doing some skiing in Quebec, driving around a rental car from Boston, and stayed in Montreal for a few days, and my car got ticketed; I never paid it. I was doing some skiing in the Alps and made a side trip to Berlin and got a ticket there as well, also with a rental car, that I didn't pay. I had a rental car in Amsterdam that got ticketed, but unfortunately it got booted as well - SO I PAID THE DAMN TICKET!
I got a ticket in my own car (registered in Louisiana) in Dallas when I just passing through and was visiting the JFK assassination museum; it did not have the correct license plate number (the plate was a special university plate whose plate number was some extra characters than were on the plate) and the car description was off in any case; of course, I did not pay. And (with that same university plate, but on a different car) I got a ticket in New Orleans that I would have had to pay to continue my registration, but "fortunately" that car got flooded in Hurricane Katrina, so I didn't pay that either. (I have not had any problems registering that plate with my present car that I have had since Katrina.) Finally, I once got a ticket during my college years in that college town, with the amount being $10; as my hearing happened to be on a free day during the final exam period, I was able to go to court and fight it, fully expecting the cop to not show up (I remember the prosecutor being in utter disbelief that I wanted my trial ) - unfortunately, the cop showed up , so I had to pay it!
I have often wondered if the ticket authority could have any leverage with the rental car company, with the company having leverage with the renter to pay a ticket. As I have been driving a stick for quite some time, I have not rented in car in North America since then (and I have figured out how to get around virtually anywhere in Europe using some sort of public transportation, so I haven't rented a car there either.
