Infinite Stupidity: The Making of a QA Poster
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
--Zachris Topelius

Quickly skimming the BBC News website this morning, I came across the following, and the validity of the date can be checked from the other news stories surrounding it. This is just a cut'npaste of today's most read list.
Most read
• 1 Sunny Leone wows web in grilling over porn past
• 2 Comic actor Leslie Nielsen dies
• 3 Asylum housing doors to be repainted
• 4 'Terrorist house' schoolboy quizzed
• 5 Palin backs Trump for US president
• 6 Gunmen attack Pakistan university
• 7 IS group confirms 'Jihadi John' death
• 8 Winter's lowest temperature recorded
I immediately thought no, it can't be true - somebody on CP would have mentioned it in the lounge before now.

|
|
|
|
I saw it too and thought of mentioning it, however I then thought that only a image of it would convince people so I didn't go to the effort that you have gone to

Interesting.
I'm subscribed to one of their RSS feeds, and every once in a while an old article get re-posted for some reason, so my reader says there's a few items I haven't read even though I'm keeping up to date, so I have to scroll back to find items that are weeks/months old to mark them as read.
However in this case, this wasn't one of them.

Maybe after Lemmy, Rickman, and Bowie there were no deaths today so they figured they would do a rerun of an old death?

In the Dutch news he died in 2010. So he might be alive somewhere else on the world. Stupid timezones....
