I bitch a lot about MS hardware. Their mouse with the hump in the wrong place... Their keyboard with the keys in the wrong place... Their game pad with everything in the wrong place...
But i must say, the trackball rocks. It's large, comfortable, and has lots of buttons in mostly the right places. After a couple weeks of switching to it at work (i've been using it at home for close to a year now), the pain in my wrist has diminished greatly.
Now, if they'd just steal some ideas from IBM, and do a decent keyboard...

I had a brush with this a couple of years ago... Shooting pains in my right arm, accompanied with general numbness. A doctor recommended a chiropractor, and after a year of regular 'adjustments' with no results, he recommended massage. Three weeks later, all symptoms began to dissolve, and after 3 months, none remained. Karate and darts have caused some minor pain since, but nothing like what I experienced from RSI. I strongly recommend deep tissue massage, and it might just be covered by any insurance you have - mine was, without a co-pay!

Funny how i can barely tear myself away from the forums here most days, but in hindsight can't figure out why. Just got back from a short weekend+1 vacation, and am reading back on the Lounge and Soapbox. Although it's very interesting to read the posts, i have no desire to reply.
But, for what it's worth, i believe discipline is vital to a child's upbringing, and smacking can be useful in this regard (but must be done only to discipline, never in anger). I think children should be taught by their parents, whether they also are in public schools or no, and what the parents should be teaching them is how to learn.
And no matter how many hours i get in a night, i'm never getting too much sleep.

I get that feeling too sometimes. I just sit here and read, smiling or muttering.

Why is it that both links for each pair point to the top image?

Spending a few days in SF, i was able to finally meet the famed CPians Nishant S and Catherine Pelham. Em (my GF) and i picked up Nish and Cath for lunch & coffee yesterday afternoon. Much fun, both are cool people.

Pics are nice.
I like your idea of posting them in your personal message board instead of Lounge or Soapbox.
Good that your provided that Thumbnails instead of full blown pictures. (like the ones from CP VS Live get-together.)
Don't and drive.

Heheh! Well, each month has a "birthstone", which is a jeweler's gimmick to sell more stones (or something like that, maybe there's roots in midevil sorcery too, i donno...). Anyway, the stone for May is the emerald, emerald->em see?
