Hi there !!

I work for a specialist IT recruitment company in the UK and we currently have a role based in Cambridge for an initial period of 4-6 months - i have attached a summary below :

The position would have the following requirements:
· At least four years of C / C++ development experience
· At least two years of experience writing Windows applications
· Familiarity with network protocols such as IPv4, TCP, and UDP.
· Experience writing socket-level applications.
· Understanding of multi-threaded programming and debugging techniques on Windows

They are looking for a strong software developer to help design and implement automated tests for a distributed network service they're working on.

The client is a world leader and would be an excellent opportunity to work on research type projects.

We unfortunately cannot sponsor work permits but if you are eligible to work in the UK and are interested I would be very interested to hear from you.

All the best

Clive
