iam working on outlook connector.i have one doubt and help.....i want to get the meeting status using safeappointment Item from outlook calender.
For Ex:
iam get the description,Meeting Status from outlook calender its display one pop-up window for security purpose.for avoid that pop-up i write the code using redemtion.
SafeAppointmentItem desc = new SafeAppointmentItem();
desc.Item = item;
desc.body.Tostring();
like that am geting description with out pop-up.wats problem means same thing i write for geting Meeting Status.
but it not doing well plz help me its very urgent.

I have a windows Form. I need to have a link for the Microsoft Excel Worksheet which will contain an embedded spreadsheet. When clicked, Excel will launch and allow the user to edit the spreadsheet. How can i do this in C#? Pls help

My requirement on C# windows form is to provide a link to the spreedsheet and user clicks on that link it should open the .xls file. How to do this?

I am working on an application through which i need to open a webpage which has to bypass the login page. The website is hosted on linux PC and apache server, i will be provided with the username and the password. i would like to know how to by pass login page from winform application to login to that page .

You need to basically access the page using the DOM inside your web browser control, insert the right username and password and press the login button through code.

I have purchased a code signing certiicate from verisign.. now i need to sign my assemblies so that i can distribute my software.. can any one please suggest me the step by step procedure to do the code signing... Is code signing generally done through click once application??

You are completely incorrect in your assumption. You need to write your own control, perhaps derived from the label class, but I'd just derive it from the base control class. It would just draw the text, and use a timer to change the text location, and redraw it.

You are in for a buttload of work. You can get the text from simple controls with GetWindowText, but to get it from a word doc or PDF, is a major undertaking, if it can be done at all.

In many ways, your best bet would be to grab screenshots of the desktop and buy an OCR library

I am using two Datetimepicker controls. one is Licence strat date and another one is Licence End date..But Licence start date is Current date default today date and Licence End date will add 1 day plus 2 years.

for example Thus for Licence Start date 01/02/2008 the date will be End Date 31/01/2010...So how to do in C# Windows Application...So please reply.....

What do you want to do, set a default value ? Why are you setting the end date if it's a fixed interval ? Set the Value of the picker to set it's value.

when i select the Start date and Automatically End date will add 2 years plus 1 day...So how to do??????

For example i give a start Date default date(whatever Date)is 12/05/2008 and End date will add 13/05/2010...automatically End Date will add 2years plus 1 day... OMG | :OMG:

I followed a tutorial, created a basic DLL and created a sum function which returns the sum of two integers. The code compiles fine and DLL is created. However when i use it in c# and load it as reference, it give me error. It says 'reference can not be added. Make sure the file is accessible and a valid com object'. What could be the problem?

The problem is that you can only reference COM and .NET DLLs in .NET. You can, however, use p/invoke to link to and call methods in a plain vanilla dll, like the one you created.

I recommend buying a beginners book on C# and winforms to help you through hurdles at this level.

You just have textboxes for the user name and password, use code to check if they are correct, and then either ask again or continue, depending on if they enter the right value or not.

I really wonder why I bother helping people when they respond by giving me a 1 and deleting their post. The question was basically asking how to check if two strings were equal and do an if statement. You tell me if I deserve a one for saying this person needs a book.
