Hi to all,
I have a hyperlink inside a datalist.I want that whenever a user clicks the hyperlink it should navigate to another page along with the data coming from database based on the id that will be passed.

If you just want to attach the ID (primary key) of that row with the navigation URL of the hypelink then this you can attach where you are designing the datalist.

Or an alternatively you can use onitemdatabound event of the datalist to do the code. What you need to do is to find the hyperlink there and assign the value you want in navigateURL property of it.

A better method is to get a ASP.NET book and work out the examples provided. Web forums are useful only when you know the basics.

Do you want to send mails automatically which is scheduled for a particular time, then you can create a windows service for it.

This is suggested constantly. But IMO, windows service is overkill for things that will work on a scheduled time. The service has to sit idle waiting for the next schedule which is a waste.

Sending mails on scheduled intervals can be done easily by creating a console application which sends the mail and exits automatically. Now configure this with the windows scheduler. Simple and efficient.

What he meant to say was whether the file path is coming correct or not which you can verify by seeing the source of that page(html).
