You can capture enter key, and do what ever you want by using below code.

Hi,

I am doing Email application, in the Email body field i wanna use HTML tags. Is there any keywords are there. Please give me some idea about this. I am using vb.net with c# language.

You can use the MailMessage-class http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.mail.mailmessage.aspx[^]).

To use HTML within the mail write the HTML-code in the body element and set the property "IsBodyHtml" to true.

Which dll? Could you post the exact error message? Please be sure that you are using the same (or higher) framework version as on your development computer.

hi friends i am using Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint com component in asp.net but it give the error:-

Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {91493441-5A91-11CF-8700-00AA0060263B} failed due to the following error: 80070005.

Please help me to resolved with this problem

Hi all,

I got the above on error on this code.

You've a mix of double and single quotes here (because of the Eval). I think you need to wrap your OnClientClick in single quotes instead.

Then you have to create a Email Server for it. Or try to use Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and implement the same using EWS (Exchange Web Services 2007.

Is it possible to declare a global variable in a program and then be able to access (read and write) that variable from an ActiveX DLL without actually passing the variable to the DLL.

If it is possible, how can I do it?

Hi all
I have used crystal reports to print INVOICE in ERP application.
Every thing works fine. But the problem is that every after some random interval crystal report page stops displaying and throws error.

It may be that their is some memory leak.
I have server(IBM) with good configuration.
RAM is 4gb.

large temporary files are created by my appliaction in C:/WINDOWS/TEMP

Its very urgent. PLs give the solutions.

Seriously, you need to tell us what the error is.

When using CR you really need to take care of your garbage collection. It uses a LOT of memory.

Can you send me the code to connect to oracle 10g with asp.net 2.0 using ldap not tnsnames.ora. Through toad i am able to do it but from code it is giving me error. Please let me know the solution.

Are you using ODP.Net?

If so, the following connection string should work:

Data Source=(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=MyHost)(PORT=MyPort)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=MyOracleSID)));User Id=myUsername;Password=myPassword;

All you need to do is create a new instance of the OracleConnection, providing it with that connection string.

Gridview with large number of records

Hi all,
I have a customer who enters cases to his application and displays them in a gridview. The problem and after 2 years of using this application the page that holds the gridview is taking too much time to display with thousands of records in ONE page in this gridview. The user refused to do paging on the gridview. He wants them in one page with a scroll. Is there a way i can do that in another way? Or can i show him lets say first 50 and then on scrolling i do a binding again with out him feeling it is doing so, maybe using ajax loading panel without causing the page to reload???? but when told him so he answered he want it very very and very fast....

Any ideas and thanks in advance.

Ask him why he wants it in one page in a scroll?

You need to page this in some way, however you do it, there will be a sligtht loading interval. Is suggest you find out why he needs it in one page and try and provide something to help him out there (i.e. is he using the ctrl+F to find items in his list - could you provide a 'search' for him).

You are creating dynamic controls using javascript or in server side.

I think you can easily use

var but = document.createElement('input');
but.type= "button";
but.onClick = function(){ alert('button clicked');};
document.appendChild(but);

to do your job.

Actually server side button is created dynamically inside placeholder control in a page as like as below,

dim btn as new button
dim plcHolder as new placeholder
PlcHolder.Controls.Add(btn)

So button is created sucessfully , but i want to call javascript function when click this button. I think u can understand right now, if u knows Plz answer me,
