Hi
i have on profile page and in that page the password of login user will display on page load.
when i view page source then the value of the actual password is shown.
so i need to make solution of this. please note that if user enter new password here and click
on save then password will be changed.
so is their any way so that the password will not appear in viewsource and will shown to user.
please keep in mind that he can change password from here too.so it not possible to show hashcode or etc.

Your code is really, really crap. I can't percieve of any reason for the password to be sent to the client. Good code doesn't even load it into memory, it just asks the database if it matches. Reasonable code would have it stored in the web config or similar. I can't even imagine what the hell it is you are doing.

i know what are you saying. but the requirements from client's is to show the password when user login and
come to page. so i need solution.
i know the password will not good to show the client.
but asap their is some specification by client i cann't do anything.

well, if you want to send password in textbox, it will come with HTML. Why do you require to show current password to the user, just when the user is logged in, you can let the user change his password, and send a notification to his mailbox.
We dont have encryption with javascript, if you still want,
you can find some help from here

Other than that if you dont want to show the password directly to the user, why dont you do encryption to the server. Or why do you require at all to send the password to the client?

Hi,
I am trying to add the Ajax control toolkit(may 2009 version) to my asp.net project.
I add a new tab to my toolbox, name it, right-click on it, choose "Choose Items..."->Browse->Choose AjaxControlToolkit.dll, but when I click OK, I don't see any new control...
Please Help...
(I am using VS2008 and when I open a new website I get the ajax extensions in my toolbox automatically so I guess I don't need to install it.)

make sure that u give reference proper and one more thing is that u have to register in top of the page
where u want to use ajax control.
i.e.
<%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="cc1" %>

Hi,
I added the register line. now I can see the ajax controls in the source of the page ONLY.
It means I see auto complete of them in the source mode, but the toolbox tab is still empty
It may help: I tried now to build my solution(I used some ajax controls) and I got the following error:

Hi. I have one record in database. I have to display it vertically in the form. How can I do that? Which is the control i have to use? Although i can do this with datalist. But i am not able to give the border between every cell. Please help me.

give the border dyanamically from back end (i.e. CS file) using for loop with data list.

If you don't understand that we can't help based on this, then you probably should not be writing code. You need to tell us the EXACT error and post some code. Especially the line that gives you the error, and the code to show us the context, and the aspx code with the control in it.

Hi all,
Im using java script for alert message. Im saving a record into Db. A flag will be set for existance of the record. If it returns "already exist" the script would be invoked. But the compiler moves into the script but it wont raise any event.But i checked a script on page load its works fine. I dont know why the script is not raise. Please help me..

Just put the javascript code in a div with visibility false.
Now depending on the condition make the visibility of that particular div true.

now this string i want to assign in to fileupload control after it want to save in to my server url...,
means using fileupload control i assign the file.., but not uploading the file in that page itself...,
just passing the filename in to another page there i am uploading the file...,
how to achive this...,

You can't change the text in the file upload control, and you cannot pass that text to another form, or get another form to read the file.
