Well, here is what i just did;
Opened Google and searched for Bioscrypt Vstration
It gave me the companies website; in their Search box i put BII_Close_TCPIP_Communications
and it gave me a PDF with some release notes; in the PDF there was some DLL command references;
BII_VS_Get_IP_Address: Retrieves the IP address stored to the CM’s flash.
• BII_VS_Set_IP_Address: Sets the assigned IP address stored to the CM’s flash.
• BII_VS_Get_DHCP_Mode: Retrieves whether or not DHCP is on or off.
• BII_VS_Set_DHCP_Mode: Enables or Disables DHCP.
• BII_VS_Get_Current_IP_Address: Retrieves the Active IP Address.
• BII_Initialize_Socket_Communications: Performs required initialization for TCPIP communications.
• BII_Open_TCPIP_Communications: Establishes a communication path with a V-Station.
• BII_Close_TCPIP_Communications: Closes the communication path with a V-Station
• BII_Cleanup_Socket_Communications: Closes out and cleans up resources that were consumed in BII_Initialize_Socket_Communications.
• BII_Get_Current_TCP_Port: Returns a value indicating what port the DLL is assuming for V-Station Ethernet communication.
• BII_Get_Current_Host_Name: Returns the host name.
• BII_Is_Using_TCPIP: Returns a value indicating whether or not the DLL is currently assuming TCPIP for communication with a V-Station.
• BII_Get_Socket_Buffer_Size: Returns the size of the Buffer being using by the TCP or UDP Socket.
• BII_Set_Socket_Buffer_Size: Specifies the size of the buffer to be used by the TCP or UDP socket.
• BII_Get_Local_IP_Address: Returns the IP address of the PC for which the DLL is being called from.
• BII_Get_Subnet_Mask: Returns the value of the subnet mask the DLL is using during Ethernet communication.
• BII_Set_Subnet_Mask: Specifies the value for the subnet mask the DLL will use during Ethernet communication.
• BII_Set_Window_Handle: Sets the Windows handle of the calling window needed to establish socket communication.
Now you can maybe look these up in your SDK to find the information!

Yes i have the API's but whenever i call API it does not return true , its not even Establishing Connection.Its my 5 machine Brand but is worst ever not a good interface provided.

Sorry, i cannot help any more, don't use it or have any knowledge on the product. its maybe time to email their support!
It looks like *log is just as it says a pointer to a buffer of data. So you probable need to create a variable to pass into the function which will then get populated with the data.

Your best source of information is going to be the company that wrote the API. It is extremely unlikely you're ever going to find someone on these forums that has used that library.

If you are building a logon screen that implies you are STARTING a development, logon being one of the first things you need.
If this is so then STOP - you are using a platform that is no longer supported and should be allowed to drift into history. Download the .Net versions and start using that technology, you will find lots of support and help for the .Net version and they are FREE.

I am using VBA (Access 2007) for my project. On the form load, listview retrieves data from the db but gets problem (Error Message : Type mismatch).

Could that be caused by insurno being a number? Try converting it explicitly;

Thanks so much for your help. The problem is fixed. 
Anyways, I want to click on the ListView Item and load its values from each colums to the TextBox, ComboBox. It is the better way to update the record.

Hope you guys can help, because I'm stumped on this one. Okay, so I have a VB.NET 2008 program I'm writing, I'm trying to load some PHP reports in a WebBrowser control. On one form there is a WB control and the different buttons for different reports, two of them have to be able to be filtered by date, user, etc., so on those another form opens up with those options. All of this works fine, the options set variables for use in the url to the report, but when I try to navigate to the the report's url, the WB control does nothing.
I figure I need to reference the open instance of the child form with the browser on it, but I haven't been able to find how to do that.
Anything you guys can help me with would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can access all the open forms in your application via the My.Application.OpenForms methods.
Expose a public method on one form and pass a variable across from the other form e.g. To pass a value to Form1 from Form2
Form1.SomeMethod(SomeVariable)
Then in the SomeMethod on Form1 build the new browser url and navigate to it.

don't know why, but I can't seem to get a value to pass across.

Thanks for pointing that out, but it still won't work. After some testing with message boxes, I've found that it just seems to stop after the Return line. No matter what I put after the Return is ignored.

it will, the Return effectively steps out of the function as if to say, "i've done everything i need to do, now return to the caller"

Hi,
The default scrollbar of windows seems to be to narrow for the ListView i'm developing for the application, this is why i have created a custom ScrollBar. The question is how do i attach the scrollbar to the listview that when scrolled the listview will scroll.
Please advice.

Why does it seem too narrow? it will be standard across the OS, if you try and change one scrollbar in your application, it will then look different to everything else and just seem a bit odd.
I don't know how to do it without spending hours searching the docs and google etc. So hopefully someone more knowledgeable will respond, but one method would be to set up your scrollbar relative to the number of items in the listview, and then when you scroll, change the listview.topitem property to simulate a scroll. You would have to monitor the listview changes also, as well as what to do if the user uses arrow up and down while listview has focus.
Seems way to much effort for something that you should not need to think about. i.e. leave the original scrollbars as is.

That doesn't make sense to me. Most scrollbars look the same in Windows. For some sizes, see SystemInformation class, the HorizontalScrollBarXyz and VerticalScrollBarXyz properties.
