You're right, the list is getting large.

Possible alternative: When you click the Report button, a modified "post message" form opens, with the subject filled in (the name/link to the article); the subject is not modifiable. You can then enter the reason for the report in the input box. When you click Submit, the message gets posted to a private editor's queue, unavailable to anyone else. By making the Subject field read-only, you can set up scripts to keep counts, etc., to elevate the report.

This form can include a prompt box, like a list of reasons for the report. Click on one of these reasons, and the reason text gets pasted into your message. But you can also enter free-form text if you want. (I'm sure Sandeep will urge you to give some hard kicks. Smile | :) )

You can accomplish two things with this approach: 1) get rid of a long popup menu; 2) allow some flexibility for future needs, where you can reuse this form.
