I never fail to be disappointed by a post in the Lounge that complains about typos, which contains no typos itself. I read this twice looking for them.

I wonder if this is the same person responsible for the scrolling headline I saw on the BBC the other night which mentioned "a woman who's body was found...".

The Beeb gets it wrong more often than you think. You'd think that when the text scrolls continuously at the bottom of the screen they'd notice typos quicker, but they don't. They're not as bad as Sky though.

Well Microsoft 1/10 for effort with the Start Button but at least you can boot to desktop, a small step in the right direction.

I rather suspect that 8.2 will bring some fairly major concessions to end users, given that some of the barriers to success were pushed, have voluntarily resigned.

That's pretty much Blamers Plan: move us all away from PC's and to Microsoft Devices.
I don't know about you, but I find coding on a tablet with a "soft" keyboard and no mouse to be strangely relaxing. Particularly when I removed C# from my Nexus 7 so I wouldn't try and do it again...

As there is a move towards Ultrabooks, a touch screen UI really does start to make sense. I've been using Ultrabooks for about a year now, and I find going back to my ordinary laptop is very frustrating.

I confess that I keep tapping my laptop screen, so a hybrid isn't a bad idea, but to get full mouse/keyboard functionality, multi-touch would have to be extended to ridiculous levels -- similarly to the problem with modern FPS games, where it takes 13 fingers to tap all the keys required (in the right order, of course) to aim and shoot a gun.

Theoretically, you should just be able to upgrade the Win8 version (effectively it's W8 SP1).
