Then the last month was quite long. The 'article' has been published nearly 3 years ago.

I'm talking about all the cases. We've seen too many such Article/Tip getting approved recently. Looks like Approval mechanism needs some improvements.

I would like to see the mechanism changed too and have already complained.
It was just my note that this example does not fit.

I've spoken to Chris about increasing the reputation requirement for being able to report articles in the queue. In the meantime, please always report any articles you find as Extremely Poor Quality or Inaccurate/Misleading. They will be accessed and removed if need be.
Thanks,

On the other hand, the standard was much lower when I joined ten years ago. My early articles wouldn't pass muster today. Nor are they worth re-writing today.

For some reason, I read perp as twerp.
What do you get when you cross a joke with a rhetorical question?
The metaphorical solid rear-end expulsions have impacted the metaphorical motorized bladed rotating air movement mechanism.
Do questions with multiple question marks annoy you???

Posting irrelevant replies to forum messages like "I agree", "Why" and some voting posts (which may be faked).
The spam is inside his message signature which contains seven links to commercial pages (all the same domain).
[EDIT]
To explain in detail what he is doing:
He has posted a bunch of comments during the last days in short time (about one post per minute) to new or updated articles.

I got spammed as well by this user. But it seems he is gone now.
Does this happen a lot on Codeproject?

The member's gone, but his spam messages haven't. There's 55 messages left, most of which still need a couple of kicks.

There are not so many article forum spammers. A lot of spam is meanwhile catched by a filter which sends the messages to a special moderation queue that is only visible to protector members. Then the account is posted here so that enough members can report it which leads to closing the account.
Just watch this forum to know about the amount of spam at CP.
